Women's Experience During Hurricane Dorian
Compilation Book
August 31 through September 2, 2019 , changed the lives of many riding out category 5 Hurricane Dorian on the islands of Abaco and Grand Bahama, Bahamas. The eyes of the world were on these two islands as Hurricane Dorian ravaged these islands and cays for over 48 hours, sitting over Grand Bahama for 2 days. Lives, homes, businesses and livelihoods were lost.
In this book, read about the experiences of 12 women who survived the wrath of Hurricane Dorian as it sat over these islands in the Bahamas. Hear about the impact this storm had on their lives in the days following and where they are presently.
Proceeds from the book will be used by these 12 women to assist in getting their lives back on track.
